Judge reason
Setup was completed and verified: npm init, `npm add ai zod dotenv` (ai@7.0.107) and `npm add -D @types/node tsx typescript` (tsx 4.23.15) succeeded (transcript lines 11-19, package.json/package-lock.json saved in my-ai-app), esbuild's linux-arm64 binary was approved, index.ts matching the quickstart (streamText with model 'openai/gpt-4o-mini' iterating result.textStream) was written, and `npx tsc --noEmit` exited 0. The evaluated run did not meet the success criteria: run-stdout.txt and probe-out.txt are each exactly 1 byte (a bare newline, confirmed by od -c) with zero assistant text, and run-stderr.txt/evidence-terminal-full.txt show `Error [GatewayAuthenticationError]: Unauthenticated request to AI Gateway.` thrown from node_modules/ai/dist/index.js. The literal quickstart script exited 0 with empty stdout because ai@7 routes the auth failure to onError; after hardening index.ts to rethrow, the run exited 1. No streamed natural-language output was ever produced, no mock was substituted, and no benchmark-first-success.json exists, so no successful model call is evidenced.

- 4:05Blocked by a prerequisiteMissing AI_GATEWAY_API_KEY (Vercel AI Gateway API key). The agent requested it via benchmark-request and received {"outcome": "skipped"}; the AI SDK gateway provider's own error and the official Node.js quickstart require this credential, and no official keyless provider path exists for a local Node.js run.
